Ok, this Saturday I watched the new movie (the premiere was first in Mexico and maybe a few of you don't know that I'm Mexican). So, I won't spoiler anything, but only I'm going to say some recommendations: - If you want to watch the movie is at your own risk.
- The movie doesn't have spandy moments (that or I'm blind)
- When you watched the movie, please vote and write your opinion
Honestly,I didn't like it

No Spandy at all? </3 Well, thanks for warning us. I'll post my review and vote on your poll as soon as I've watched the movie.

The movie does fine without it! I'm just glad that Sandy had a large role since she was basically nonexistent in the first film.

I watched it today, the animation is AMAZING! I liked that it wasn't just SpongeBob and Patrick this time and thought the references to the older episodes were wonderful! There were a few parts I really didn't like. But I don't want to give any spoilers. Also, surprisingly, the lack of spandy didn't bother me. It wouldn't have fit in with the rest of the movie, but I still kept watch for any "stolen glances" or something like that... just in case. ;D In my opinion the whole thing was more like an extremely long SpongeBob episode rather than a movie with lots of character development and serious stuff, but I expected that after reading some of the reviews. I thought it was good

I am glad there is overall positive feedback on the film, and I imagine I will enjoy it as well, regardless of there being spandy or not. It makes sense we would generally all enjoy it if we got into the show without the eventual spandy interest Knowing me, I will likely do what you've done alwaysatexasgirl and look for very tiny hints, haha! Now that you've also said about character development and more serious plot, I am a lot more tempted to go see it when it comes out where I am (one more month, got to hang in there xD) I've been seeing different reviews around where they are rating the film 3/5 stars, and that it was like a mash up of, what, 3 episodes?
