I like to think of Sandy and SpongeBob as Penny and Seaweed from Hairspray. Mainly because of them being two different types of people like Penny is white and Seaweed is black, and SpongeBob is a sea creature and Sandy is a land critter.

I suppose you could parody Flint Lockwood and Sam Sparks from Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. But what could be better is Ron and Kim from Kim Possible. Or maybe evern Sonic and Amy from the Sonic the Hedgehog series... I PREFER THE LAST ONE!!!

I like to think of Spongebob and Sandy like Len and Rin from Vocaloid. Sandy and Rin are both strong girls and Spongy and Len are both thoughtful boys. Think about it...

Why is it that I keep thinking Camilla and Gonzo from the Muppets (YES I'M AWARE THAT CAMILLA IS A CHICKEN)? I guess it's because Gonzo and SpongeBob are adorably weird and crazy, and Sandy and Camilla both have to put up with Their boyfriends' crazy antics.
I also thought of Piggy and Kermit. Sandy as Kermit and SpongeBob as Piggy!!! XD
Luigi and Princess Daisy is a good one. A little shy guy with a hell of a tomboy for a girlfriend. XD
But I'm serious about the Sandy as Kermit and Spongey as Miss Piggy. *flails around retardedly*

I know that no one here besides me watched Origami, but I keep thinkin Thorin Mai and Arin Chi. Little nerdy guy with a super tall tomboy for a girlfriend...
I still stand by my SpongeBob as Miss Piggy and Sandy as Kermit idea!!!!
They could also go for Mickey and Minnie... or Yin and Cluck from Yin Yang Yo... or OOO!!!! Phineas and Isabella! *kinda lame, I know, but come on!!!*
