Look, I know that this site is pro Spandy, but have you ever read a SBxPS fan fiction? The whole couple is gross, but the writing is extremely good. So, when you see a SBxPS fic, don't go flaming; just try to read them. I think that people who write Yaoi are actually really good at writing. Some of my friends write Sonic Yaoi and they are really good authors.

Yeah, I know. Like the other day ago, I was reading a ToRu (TobexGaru from Pucca, blech) fic and I thought, y'know, if I didn't hate this pairing with all my heart, I'd actually like this! It's kinda sad how that's the case...

I have glanced at a few PatBob fics and I guess they're OK in the writing field, but some of them are rubbish, they use script format, they get their spellings wrong and their plots are all mixed up!

True. But I read one last night that was really good...

I guess,I could agree. I remember a few years ago, there was LOTS of Patbob fanfics they were written pretty good, but they were also dirty and nasty!
None of the PatBob fics I read were cute and inccocent. That's why if you EVER want to read a GOOD slash fanfic try to look some of the K-K+ Squidbob fanfics, there actually kinda of decent.
In fact,I remember reading a cute Squidbob fanfic last year, back in July,I actaually couldn't help but smile at it.
But you guys really shouldn't complain, back in 2004 the "Spandy" fics that were on fanfiction were really horribly written and VERY corny and really OOC.
So if you think the Spongebob fanfics up NOW are bad?! Go to pages 30-32 on the Spongebob fanfiction page, prepare to see some REALLY bad fanfics.
(Please remember I'm still a STRONG Spandy fan like everybody else,I just have a strong opionion when it comes to this.)

It's really hard for most people to make Spandy stories without making everyone totally out of character. This is why I can never finish most of my SB related fanfiction. XD

Oh, trust me, I'm the queen of Out of Character. I've only writen stories for Pucca, but I've basically labled Tobe off as a nervous, head-over-heels ninja-wannabe. It's like I completely ignore the fact that he's an evil ninja who's consentrated on destroying Garu and could care less about love (with the exeption of "Evil Love", 'cuz he got hit in the butt with Cupid's arrow in that eppy)! ANYWAY... Yeah.

I have read some Spandy fics on FF.net. And they were *holds back puke* extremely corny and had not plot, or character development. Some of them turned Sandy into some girly, Mary-Sue and MOST of them turned SpongeBob into a total jerk. I LOVE Spandy, but I also love to read slash fics. What is it about Slash that makes people write so well?

I hope those Spandy fics you read weren't mine 'cause my first Spandy fic was rubbish! And my second was a bit better but it was a crossover so I can explain why Sandy and SpongeBob were doing nothing but crying and hugging each other (It was the end of reality, almost)
I agree that slash writers are quite good, but the fics just make go all queasy and stuff.

My first ones made no sense because I tried making ones that people hadn't thought of yet. The only one that makes partial sense is 'Prevention'.

My first Spandy story was CRAP! They were sooo corny! And then I stopped writing for a while and came back, now all my characters are WAY too mature. It's like my writing style aged 10 years in a couple months. O.O

I don't usually write fanfiction, but I did do a yaoi story with Shadow and Silver once. It was actually pretty good, from my friends' POV. And even though I don't usually get down with the whole SpongeBob slash stuff, I do like to write Sonic slash/yaoi from time to time. But, I don't do fem-slash/yuri. That's just creepy.

I have only read ONE PatBob story, and it scarred me for life. So yeah... it's safe to say I stay away from those. Chills run down my spine just thinking about it. Ok so, I might actually not mind it that much right now, but I read it way back when I first started writing fanfic (which would be like... five or six months ago XD. In my world, that's a LONG time) Anyways, my mind was still developing into teenagerness and I'm sure I probably remember it a lot worse that what it actually was.

I admit the same mistake of being OOC with my first Spandy fic -_- You're right, some PatBob fics are actually well written (I'm ashamed I actually read them, but I have seen worse yaoi pairings of FF.net) I have seen 3 horrible Spongebob stories on FF.net as well, but I will save you guys the trouble of reading them in case you gauge your eyes out .)

*crosses fingers and prays one of those fics wasn't called Sandy's Big Day due to the fact of it being GG's only Spandy fic that wasn't a crossover...*
