*pats back* There there, my friend's hamster died recently so I know about these things...but that was hamsters, I have no experience in comforting people over cats. I'll just shut up cause I obviously ain't helping...

When I was younger, I had a ton of cats over the course of years, and every single on ran away. I'm so sorry!

Aww, I'm sorry M! When I was about 9 years old, my parents kicked my border collie puppy outside during a storm. I never saw her again either. And if THAT wasn't enough, a couple weeks later something tore apart my rabbit's cage and killed her. Didn't even eat her either, just killed her for the heck of it. When pets run away, you never truly get over it. But it does get easier with time. When my puppy ran away, I thought I would never be able to love another dog again. I don't know how many times I cried. But trust me, it'll get easier. You'll never forget him, but you'll be ok.

No, you guys don't get it. He didn't run away, he was killed by our neighbor's dog. We found his little body in their carport, where a fat, happy dog sat in the garage wagging her tail. My mom doesn't have the heart to bury him yet, because it's too rainy and wet. He's in the freezer in the basement... my little baby boy is dead.
