Gary: Meow (Hi)

Sandy: Hey there's Gary.

Gary: Meow (What's going on)?

Sandy: Oh you're wondering where Spongebob is. He's in his room asleep. I've seen Spongebob feed you before. Are you hungry?

Gary: Meow (No. What are you doing here)

Sandy: I brought Spongebob home. He said he was hurt. I told him I should stay here just to make sure nothing happens to him.

Gary: Meow (How bad is he hurt)?

Sandy: I'm not sure but it looked pretty bad. I told him he should go to the hospital but he wanted to come home. I almost forgot... tomorrow is Monday. Spongebob is supposed to work. There's no way he's going to be able to work. Maybe I should tell Mr.Krabs.

[Erin]

*The Next Day*

*Phone rings*

Spongebob:*wakes up* "Huh?" "What?" "Oh,that's the phone.." "I'll get it.." *snap* *CRACK* "Oww.." "I can't move.."

Sandy:*runs in* "Don't worry I'll get it!" *picks up phone* "Hello?"

Mr.Krabs:*other line* "Uh,hello Sandy.." "Can I speak with Spongebob?" "He's 20 minutes late for work!"

Sandy:"Uh,Spongebob can't come to the phone." "He injured his back,pretty badly."

Mr.Krabs:"Oh,really?" "How did he break his back?"

Sandy:"Ummm,we were playing karate..and I, hurt him by accident.."

Mr.Krabs:"Oh." "Fine,I'll give him the day off." "But only for today.." "He should be better by tommrow." *hangs up*

Sandy:*hangs up* *thinking* "Tommrow?" "Just how cheap can Mr.Krabs get?"

Spongebob:"Sandy,who was that?"

Sandy:"Oh,it was Mr.Krabs." "I told him what happened." "He said he'd give you the day off."

Spongebob:"Day off?" "But...but.." "I NEED TO WORK." "I'M NOT BROKEN." "I CAN WORK.." "I'll prove it!" *tries to get up* *snap* *CRACK* "Owww.."

Sandy:*sarcastically* "Oh,sure you look fine and well.."

Spongebob:*cries* "I CAN'T MOVE!!" "Help me,Sandy please!"

Sandy: Don't worry we'll figure out something...(thinks for a moment) I got it.

Spongebob: Got what?

Sandy: Well I got this crazy idea. I was thinking maybe I could fill in for you. Just until you feel better.

Spongebob: Wait you mean work at the Krusty Krab? In my place?

Sandy: Well someone's got to.

Spongebob: That sounds like a good idea except I don't know if Mr.Krabs will let you.

Sandy: Well I don't see why not. As long as he's making money I don't know why he would care who makes the patties.

Spongebob: Are you sure you want to do that. Maybe I should try to get up. (crack) Ow.

Sandy: I've got to. Your in no condition to work. You can't even move. I'm calling Mr.Krabs and asking him.

Gary: Meow (If you do that who will take care of Spongebob)?

Sandy: That's right. Um... what about you Gary? Could you take care of him?

Gary: Meow (Yeah but it's usually the other way around)

Sandy: Gary have you ever fed yourself?

Gary: Meow (Yeah a few times. What do I need to do)?

Sandy: Like feed him and take care of anything he may need. I think we got this figured out. If Mr.Krabs will let me I can fill in for Spongebob at the Krusty Krab but I need to call him.

Spongebob: But, can't we figure some way i can work. I love my job.... ow!

Sandy: No! You can barely move!

Spongebob: So? You wouldn't be able to comprehend the complexity of the Krabby Patty secret formula!

Sandy: *rolls eyes* I'll try to manage.

Sandy: I've made Krabby Patties before. Don't you remember?

Spongebob: (Spongebob remembers the day he and Sandy were working together. They were using karate to make patties quicker) Oh yeah I remember. We both worked at the Krusty Krab for a day. I think using karate is faster.

Sandy: Yeah. That day was fun. So I'm calling Mr.Krabs and I'm going to ask him if I can fill in.

Spongebob: I'm really sorry Sandy. You shouldn't have to do this.

Sandy: It's ok Spongebob you don't have to apologize. That's what friends are for. So I'm calling Mr.Krabs back.

(At the Krusty Krab Squidward picks up the phone)

Squidward: Hello

Sandy: Squidward it's Sandy I need to talk to Mr.Krabs.

Squidward: Why?

Sandy: Because I need to ask him if I can work for Spongebob.

Squidward: Um... Ok. Mr.Krabs pick up the phone.

Mr.Krabs: Hello Krusty Krab. Mr.Krabs speaking.

Sandy: Hi it's Sandy.

Mr.Krabs: Um... Hi. I thought we already went through this. Spongebob is to be back here tomorrow.

Sandy: That's not possible Mr.Krabs. He's hurt really bad. I talked to him and I came up with an idea. I was thinking I could fill in for him until he's better.

Mr.Krabs: Hmm... I don't know.

Sandy: Please I cook food all the time at home.

Mr.Krabs: Well the Krusty Krab is different.

Sandy: It was a few years ago you let me work with Spongebob for a day because we couldn't stop doing karate.

Mr.Krabs: Oh yeah. I almost had to fire him. The Krusty Krab did have a lot of customers that day. So do you still remember how to make Krabby Patties?

Sandy: Yeah no problem.

Mr.Krabs: So your wanting to fill in for Spongebob.

Sandy: Yeah. I know you like money and I was thinking as long as your making money I don't see why you would care who makes the patties.

Mr.Krabs: Hmm... you know me so well. Sure you can fill in for him but just one question.

Sandy: What?

Mr.Krabs: Why are you the one filling in for him?

Sandy: Well it's my fault he's hurt and it's just something friends do.

Mr.Krabs: You two have been friends a long time. I know sometimes he gets distracted from work. I was thinking maybe you were that distraction. He sometimes talks to me about you.

Sandy: Really? What does he say?

Mr.Krabs: Um... I forgot but if your going to fill in for him you should get over here.

Sandy: Ok bye.

Mr.Krabs: Bye. (hangs up the phone and says...) That was close. I almost told her his secret. They are so good for each other. He should tell her how he feels.

(back at Spongebob's pineapple)

Sandy: Ok Spongebob he said I could fill in for you. I've got to get over there. Gary you can take care of him right?

Gary: Meow (Yes)

Sandy: Ok I'll be back later. Please be careful Spongebob.

Spongebob: Ok. I'll be fine Sandy. Are you sure you want to do this?

Sandy: Sure no problem. See you later.

Spongebob: Ok.

So Sandy heads to the Krusty Krab. While Sandy was making the patties Squidward starts talking to her.

Squidward: It looks like today will be a great day at work. No Spongebob.

Sandy: I'm only filling in for him while he's hurt.

Squidward: I'm sure that's not the only reason?

Sandy: What's that supposed to mean? Sandy asks getting angry.

Squidward starts laughing and says... Your only filling in for him because you love him.

Sandy: Who I love is none of your business.

Squidward: Relax I'm only kidding. Like anyone would really be in love with Spongebob.

Sandy: This is going to be a long day.

So later Mr.Krabs goes to talk to Sandy.

Mr.Krabs: Well Sandy I'm impressed. Your about as good as Spongebob.

Sandy: Thanks Mr.Krabs. I used to cook for my family back in Texas.

Mr.Krabs: It seems like the customers enjoy your cooking.

Sandy: Thanks.

Mr.Krabs: Well it's closing time. If Spongebob doesn't feel better by tomorrow I hope to see you again. Good job today.

Sandy: Thanks Mr.Krabs... bye.

Sandy is on her way home when she runs into Patrick.

Patrick: Hey Sandy I took your advice. I went downtown and I started karate class today.

Sandy: That's great Patrick. How was it?

Patrick: It was good I guess. So how was work at the Krusty Krab?

Sandy: Long and hard. I don't see how Spongebob does it. Mr.Krabs said I did a good job though.

Patrick: Oh so hows Spongebob doing?

Sandy: Spongebob! I almost forgot. He had to stay at home with Gary today. I gotta go Patrick I've got to check on Spongebob.

Patrick: Ok bye.

Sandy ran back to the pineapple as fast as she could. She was never so worried about Spongebob in her life. Finally she's inside and she yells for him

Sandy: Spongebob!

Spongebob: Sandy. He says with a smile. What's wrong? Is everything ok?

Sandy: Oh... yes of course.

Spongebob: Why were you running?

Sandy: Well... I was worried about you. Since your hurt.

Spongebob: Everything is ok Sandy.

Sandy: Are you still hurting?

Spongebob: Yeah a little bit. I still can't get up.

Sandy: Well hopefully you will feel better soon.

Spongebob: So um... how was your day.

Sandy: Good I guess. Honestly I gotta say it's harder than it looks but Mr.Krabs said I did a good job.

Spongebob: You wouldn't have to do this if I hadn't gotten hurt.

Sandy: But the only reason you got hurt was because of me.

Spongebob: It's ok Sandy you shouldn't keep blaming yourself for that. You know I'm going to try to get up.

Sandy: Be careful Spongebob.

Spongebob is now sitting up in his bed.

Spongebob: Now maybe I should try walking.

Sandy: Well it looks like your feeling better.

Spongebob: Well it hurts but at least I can move a little.

Spongebob tries to walk and does for a few steps. Then he fell down the stairs...

Sandy: Spongebob! I'm coming...

Spongebob: I'm ok Sandy I just slipped but it doesn't hurt that much anymore. I think it popped my back in place again.

Sandy goes and carefully tries to pick Spongebob up. He is in her arms and they are looking at each other in the eyes...

Ok someone take over.

[steelsponge]

Spongebob: Sandy, it will heal...
Sandy: I know.

Yeah, I'm kinda the guy who rushes sometimes.

Sandy: Does it hurt?

SpongeBob: Kinda. Not really, though.

Sandy: Well, you're gettin' better, so that's a good thing!

Spongebob: You've done so much for me Sandy. I think I am better now.

Sandy: Are you sure? You just fell down the stairs.

Spongebob: Yeah I know but something happened. I was hurting worse before I fell down the stairs.

Sandy: That's weird. How are you feeling now.

Spongebob: It feels like all of my pain is gone.

Sandy: Well if your pain is gone I guess you don't need me anymore... But maybe you should try walking again. Just not near the stairs.

Spongebob: Yeah that's probably a good idea.

Spongebob can now walk normal.

Spongebob: Hey I guess falling down the stair was good for me because I can walk now. I can go to work tomorrow.

Sandy: Well I guess I should go home now. I've got to work on my experiments.

Spongebob: Wait. Can't you hang out for a while?

Sandy: Well I'd like to but I really need to get back to work too.

Spongebob: Maybe I can help you.

Sandy: Really?

Spongebob: Sure I mean you helped me.

Sandy: I don't know sometimes doing experiments can be dangerous.

Spongebob: Well you can tell me what I need to do. I'd be happy to help. It's the least I can do since you've already done so much for me.

Sandy: I just don't want you to get hurt again.

Spongebob: I'm fine Sandy really. I really want to help you.

Sandy: Ok but I've got to make sure nothing bad happens.

(Later that day. Sandy had just finished the last touch on her latest invention. Since she had Spongebob's help she finally made the ultimate invention. Her invention finally allows her to breathe underwater. For Spongebob he can now breathe air.)

Spongebob: Wow Sandy this is great you can finally breathe underwater.

Sandy: I know and you can finally breathe air. I couldn't have done it without your help so thank you Spongebob.

Spongebob: Your welcome Sandy. Ok now there is something I want to tell you.

Sandy: What?

Spongebob: Well if I tell you this things might now ever be the same.

Sandy: Sure it will. We will always be friends.

Spongebob: I know but I'm still not sure but I really want to tell you something. Um it's a secret of mine... will you promise to keep it between us?

Sandy: Sure Spongebob.

Spongebob: Ok... Ever since we first met I've had this secret.

Sandy: Why? You've known me for over ten years now.

Spongebob: I know... When I first saw you I've always wanted to say... Sandy I love you!

Sandy: Aw... I love you too Spongebob. You may not have known this but I've always been in love with you too and I've actually said it to you before.

Spongebob: Really when?

Sandy: Well you were asleep when I said it.

Spongebob: Oh... I thought I heard your voice. When did you say it the first time.

Sandy: It was the night you got hurt.

Spongebob: Wow this is great...so we both love each other.

Sandy: Yeah I guess so.

Spongebob and Sandy are sitting real close together and are looking into each others eyes.
