Maybe yes, maybe not. I don't know and I don't want to have very high expectations about it. In the new trailer it show that Sandy is going to have more interaction with Spongebob but my question is: What is going to happen between Spongebob and Sandy?, Their romantic moments is going to back or they are going to show that are only Friends (again)?
If you haven't watched

(YAY! A new episode AND a thread about it on the Spandy forum!!) I have this weird feeling this could be a bit like "Can you spare a dime?" just with SpongeBob in Squidward's position ("helpless" and possibly without a job) and Sandy as the person who has to take care of him and ends up getting fed up by it all. (I could be WAY off though) As for the Spandy moments, I'm not going to get my hopes up*, but I did think this part of the trailer was worth noting: Narrorator: "Will he find something to live for?" -cuts to SpongeBob in his house- SpongeBob: "Just leave me Sandra! Forget you ever knew me." Sandy: "Don't give up, SpongeBob!"I did not expect that at all. But the part with the peanut butter jar got me like, REALLY?! (that's also why I think this episode could be a bit like "Can you spare a dime") Also, what's going on with SpongeBob calling Sandy "Sandra"? It's happened twice in season 9 (in Kenny The Cat and this episode); I don't think he called her that in any other seasons... Has anybody else noticed this? *= I was so hoping that something would happen in "SpongeBob LongPants". But Sandy didn't even seem to notice his new outfit. (She did call him SpongeRobert though, haha) I wasn't dissapoitned by the episode. But I had expected something like a "Oooh, nice pants SpongeBob." or something silly like that. But oh well. The episode still was great without it.

Yes that's right. Not have many hopes. I think that (maybe) the Spongebob's writers aren't considering to do episodes with spandy moments for the moment because (maybe) they thought that do it is very quick if we take into account that Stephen Hillenburg has just returned to the show. But even thinking that way in that moment I couldn't resist the idea that Spongebob and Sandy maybe could have something and don't say nothing (sometimes is so hard not to be a Spandy Fan XD) Anyway I noticed too that Spongebob called Sandy "Sandra" twice and when Spongebob is along with Sandy (but that is only that I think, you don't take me too seriously what I say)

And I agree; I doubt they'll put any major Spandy moments in any of the newer episodes because Hillenburg came back... But the trailer kinda made me think otherwise for a moment. XD

I don't want to double post, but I just watched Two Thumbs Up and am really happy!! First, the plot wasn't at all what I thought it'd be (thankfully) but if you haven't watched it yet, I'd definitley recommend it, even if it's just for the interaction between SpongeBob and Sandy, which was really cute and awkward or way too dramatic, haha. I think I screamed (and then laughed) when the part with the peanut butter jar came up... because... I don't want want to give any spoilers but that part really ruined it ALL!! (Although it was pretty expected, even without watching the trailer you kinda know they won't let anything that big happen...)
YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT.

Thanks for the recommended, but I have already watched it before you posted (well, I watched it in youtube the same day). I have been very very busy at home and I haven't time to see the internet since I watched the episode. Whatever. It's very cute how Sandy encourages him especially when she said:"Something to love. Something to live for". Sandy always encourages Spongebob and she stay by him when he needs someone in that bad moments.

I love how the animation looks so much better than in recent seasons!
