Read any good books lately?

I'm working on a novel called Felidae. I've seen the movie on YouTube (if you end up watching it, I warn you: it is gory and has a kitty porn scene in it), and I'm enjoying the book so far. I'm really tempted to start writing a mystery story similar to it, except it takes place in Bikini Bottom, Sandy is a mersquirrel and must solve the mystery, and there is no porn...

I also read Venus Among The Fishes, which I thought would be awesome because it stars a pacific white-sided dolphin, which is my fave type of dolphin. But, no, the book was boring...

What about y'all? Read anything good lately?

Not really the last book I read was called "Lessons From A Dead Girl." Which disturbed me in many ways.
