I have a challenge for any aspiring writer. I have an idea for a fan fic. However, I do not have the time or desire to write the story myself so I have decided to share the idea here. Perhaps one of you can turn this idea into a fan fic. Here is the idea:
Sandy’s (monkey) bosses fire her after she fails to show them a new, useful invention during a surprise inspection. Sandy needs a new job, but she claims that she doesn’t want to leave Bikini Bottom (actually the real reason is that she doesn’t want to leave SpongeBob). Sandy meets with SpongeBob and asks him if he can help her get a job at the Krusty Krab. SpongeBob agrees to help Sandy and explains to her that he would do anything for a friend (actually SpongeBob secretly has dreamed about working with Sandy ever since he met her). Mr. Krab’s is reluctant to hire Sandy because he fears that she will be a major distraction to SpongeBob. SpongeBob begs Mr. Krabs to give Sandy a chance and reminds him how he made a lot of money during the day she worked for him before (remember the end of “Karate Choppers”).
Mr. Krabs reluctantly agrees and gives Sandy a job as “assistant frycook”. Everything goes well initially. The customers enjoy watching SpongeBob and Sandy make Krabby Patties by using karate. SpongeBob and Sandy even team up to foil one of Plankton’s most elaborate plans. Mr. Krabs’s profits have increased dramatically. SpongeBob and Sandy have never been this happy before because they are working with one another (although neither SpongeBob nor Sandy have revealed their true feelings with one another).
However, problems develop as time goes on. Customers grow tired of watching SpongeBob and Sandy using Karate to make Krabby Patties (the novelty wears off). They also grow tired of watching SpongeBob and Sandy flirting with one another. Eventually, Mr. Krabs’s is no longer making a profit, which infuriates him. Mr. Krabs also notices a major decline in SpongeBob’s performance at work. (SpongeBob is no longer focus on his job because he is always trying to come up with a new karate move that will impress Sandy). Squidward complains to Mr. Krabs that he cannot work for him if SpongeBob and Sandy both remain employed because they make too much noise and he is tired of handling complaints caused by SpongeBob and Sandy’s flirting.
Mr. Krabs grows tired of the distractions, the customer complaints, and most importantly, the disappearance of his profits. Mr. Krabs would prefer to retain SpongeBob as a Krusty Krab employee because he was an excellent employee before Sandy was hired. However, Mr. Krabs is afraid to fire Sandy himself because he is afraid that Sandy will hurt him with her karate. Mr. Krabs forces SpongeBob to make a very difficult choice:
1) Fire Sandy and save his job
2) Refuse to fire Sandy and they will both be fired (Mr. Krabs will order Squidward to tell SpongeBob and Sandy that they are fired because he is afraid that SpongeBob and Sandy will both attack him with their karate).
What will SpongeBob do? How will Sandy react? Will Plankton try to take advantage of the situation? Will SpongeBob and Sandy reveal their true feelings to each other?
