Well. Before the episode "Boating Buddies" I never thought of this pairing, but in that episode there are some hints.
First of all Squidward yells out, "But he (Spongebob) is the bane of my existance!" or something, and Mrs. Puff replies, "Yours too!?"
haha. and Later in that episode he so calls her "Sweet cheeks!" ;D

then if you watch "Boat Smarts"...well the whole episode is Mrs. Puff talking about how Squidward is a better driver than Spongey. and as they're plummeting off a cliff in a boat, they cling to each other! lol.

I like the idea of Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff...but I like Squidward being with someone too. I know he's not gay..lol.

Eh, but if he doesn't get with her...I'll take him..heheheee.... :-/
