I've noticed almost every character in the show has liked someone before. Patrick, he liked Mindy. Squidward, he liked Patrick when he was dressed up as a girl. (disturbing) Mr.Krabs, liked Mrs.Puff. Plankton, likes his wife, and Mr.K's mom. Pearl likes that one guy that never takes a bath at the beach, and that one guy in the prom episode.
But what about Spongebob? Yes, he has shown a love for a sandwich, but that doesn't count because Patty died. And Sandy hasn't shown interest in anyone either. So... what if? Another weird sign I thought of, so enjoy!
