It just may be the cruelest, most frustrating thing a writer could ever pull. Two characters are finally about to bring all their shippers' dreams to fruition. They're about to resolve all the UST and cross the Just Friends line, at last. They're staring mesmerized into each others' eyes, inching forward ever so slowly, less than a millimeter away from lip-to-lip contact. This is it, the fans scream in their minds. They're finally going to kiss! And then...
They don't.
Were they interrupted by a knock on the door or falling meteor?

Think about THIS though The minister had said at the end "I didn't know this was a play" so technically they ARE married by the power of a real minister!!! LAWLZ!!! ;D

LOL, yeah! That reminds me of this one time on the Muppet Show when Miss Piggy got Kermit to sign a marriage license *she disguised it as a contract for something* and told Kermit that in a sketch, they were getting married. But, she hires a real minister to make it official. Before they kiss, Scooter comes in and says something about how beautiful the wedding will be, reassuring Kermit that this was just another one of Miss Piggy's attempts to marry him. After a fit of yelling, they all leave the stage and the minister looks out to the audience and says; ''I didn't even know this was a play... freaks.''

Maybe the writers were inspired by the Muppets in Truth or Square...?
Naw, then Patrick would be eating a tire to the music of The Flight of the Bumblebees like Gonzo did in episode 001.
BTW, today a friend of mine gave me a vintage 1980 Kermit PEZ Dispenser!! I also got an EVE from Wall-E PEZ Dispenser too.
