I hate school. I hate it, hate, hate, HATE IT. I love Sesame Street. It will always have a special place in my heart that no other thing could ever have, but... people are calling me an immature little kid for still watching it. I nearly cried when my best friend yelled out ''Shut up and go back to Sesame Street, Kremit!'' at me, and I could tell she meant it. Kids are coming up to me and are singing: ''Can you tell me how to get, how to get, to Sesamilla Street?!"(Sesamilla is a drug pronounced ses-uh-mee-uh) and calling me Kremit (this isn't a typo, they seriously call me Kremit) instead of my nickname, Kermit. I feel so mad at them, I don't feel like myself at all sometimes. My sister tells me I'm too old for it and some of my friends tell me to get a life and start devoting my heart and soul to things that are real. But I don't like reality, I practically live in my own world, so guys, be honest...
Should I leave Sesame Street and all my childhood behind and be the M they want me to be? Do I forget about Kermit and all his friends? Do I leave SpongeBob in the ocean? Do I confine Chowder to the kitchen? Do I run way ahead of Sonic?
Do I turn away from Kermit and become Michela?

NO! Everyone at my school and me own MUM tried convincing me that SpongeBob was childish, and yeah I stopped watching it but I'm still an active SB fan.
Hey I live in my own world too and I get teased for that but I'm used to it so I just ignore them...I'm so nuts I have three fantasy worlds: My normal one with GG and B-GAL; My Neopets world and my vampire world (anyone heard of British vampires?...Didn't think so...).

Hmmmm, This idea could crazy enough to work: When I get bullied, at some point the boys call me "GraphicsGirl" in a mocking way and in a stupid retarded American accent (They say I speak American accent but I try to speak Liverpudlian just to shut 'em up), so maybe you could try calling your bullies names impersonating them in a dumb accent. (But only use this as a Plan Z after you've tried 25 other ways from somewhere )

D'aww!! I can't say I relate to that. ^^; I only get made fun for my Spandy obession,but not with my friends at school. Just with my family. The reason why I never get made fun of by my friends by it,is because none of them know I like it. I keep it a secret. All of my friends either HATE Spongebob with a burning passion or he's just gay. So I just lie and say I feel the same way. And a part of me dies inside every time I say it. Oh! And it's okay if you like little kid shows! I watch them all the time! But with my little sisters! So nobody thinks I'm strange! Haha! I secretly love watching Sesame Street,espially when they have those 'pop culture' references. XD My mom loved it when they made fun of law and order. xD My favorite characters on Sesame Street were always Cookie Monster and Grover. ^^ There are so funny! =D Eh,sorry for ranting. ^^;

I never get bullied at school (so no-one knows I still like Spongebob). You should NEVER give up on the things you love. That's like me giving up on gaming. I would have withdrawal symptoms

How do you think people treat me about my addiction to Pucca? Not very well. But does that stop me from watching it? Heck no! Because I love that show just like you love Sesame Street. I can also relate because I'm one of the very few virgins left in my school. I've never even had a boyfriend! (Much less kissed a dude...) I get teased about that quite a bit, but I refuse to just go meet some random guy and ** with him!!! I'm planning on staying single for a LONG time. People make fun of me for it, but it's my life, not theirs to decide my every move for me.
And if it makes you feel any better, my older brother's almost 15, and he thinks Handy Manny is one of the greatest shows in the world.

Random, I know, but my favorite characters on Sesame Street are Big Bird, and before CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL CRUEL Disney ripped him away from his creators, Kermit.
