In English we're studying poetry and we had to write a poem based on either "Springtime" or "Cherry Blossom Trees", The Cherry tree thing is cause there's sommat like three or four of 'em outside our classroom window.
Anyway, I felt I had to post to post it up here cause I'm so proud of it, the theme I choose was Spring BTW:
The bright sun rises on March twenty-first,
Ending a winter you thought was cursed,
The new born lambs open their sparkly eyes,
Chicks, bunnies and pink butterflies,
The pollen world opens right under our noses,
Daffodils, daises, tulips and roses,
Petals and leaves fall down like confetti,
Underground roots spread out like spaghetti,
Morning light shines on the fresh grassy dew,
Twinkles like starlight as the white cows moo,
Better make way for those wet April showers,
You know you can't mess with those elemental powers,
We all love Spring for the obvious reasons,
To sum it all up, it's the best of the seasons!

I spent no end of time trying to find words that rhymed, trust me! XD I just hope I get a good mark tomorrow when I hand it in! But I didn't use similes, metaphors and personification so I won't get the best mark
But who cares! I wrote something I'm proud of for once!
