Okay, for some reason I know some people have asked me what Origami-Sa! is. What kind of anime IS it, exactly? Well, considering it only comes on in Alabama and on the Alabama Public Television station, I'll have to go IN DEPTH. *puts on diving suit*
Point 1: The Characters.
Ariin-Chi: (yes, all the characters have hyphens in their names) A fifteen year old dog/anthro/human/ thing that has the power to transform into a Light Savior. Hates bugs and has a bit of a temper.
Thorin-Mai: Very sweet fifteen year old dog/anthro/human thing who ALSO has the power to trandform. She is an exchange student from China, along with her brother and grandmother. Loves bugs, but cries easily. She's also like WAAAAAY taller than Ariin, and I think that's hilarious, considering near the end of the third season they end up together.
Lee-Mai: Thorin's brother, also from China. He's at least ten years old and takes training seriously, though he only has the power to turn into a dove. Can be very strict, but is really quiet and mad most of the time. Really hates Ariin.
Kyoko-Senpai: (senpai means ''senior'', and that isn't his real last name, btw) A student from Britain (his real name is Kyle, I think, Kyoko is his nickname), seventeen year old cat/anthro/human. Easily over excited and overjoyed about joining the others. Thorin's best friend FO-EVA, even though he really agitates Ariin's bad temper. He is probably the most handsome boy in school and has girls following him around, to which he's absolutely clueless.
Auntie Shii: Lee and Thorin's grandmother. Very sweet, and watches over the four who transform. She knows everything about transforming and has thousands of volumes of ancient wisdom in her library.
Kim-Li: A cat/anthro/human disguising herself as a boy to escape her horrible family life. Thorin falls in love with her at first, until she accidently blows her cover. Very gentle and kind, but her brother is Enemy #1.
Orochi-Senpai: Kim's older brother, and is out to steal all the transforming characters' powers, unless they defeat him. Has a WAAAY worse temper than Ariin's and is very pessimistic.
Point 2: The Plot
After the death of his mother and father, Ariin starts seeing things in his sleep. These black markings start appearing on his hands and feet, and his temper goes off the charts. But when he accidently bumps into Thorin on the way back from their gravesite, he notices she has the marks too, but she runs off before he can ask her about them. He notices she left her bag behind, so he sees her address on the keychain and returns it to her. Ariin asks if she'd like to do something, but she sadly says that she's ''not allowed.'' Dumbstruck, Ariin goes back to the grave, where he meets Lee, and they get into a huge argument. The next day, he runs into Orochi, who promises he can raise Ariin's parents if Ariin puts his hand in a ''cleansing orb'', (which is really a way to remove Ariin's marks and strip him of his unknown power). Before Ariin can even touch it, Thorin comes in and smacks it out of the way. Orochi gets angry and transforms, leaving Ariin and Thorin to transform also. Ariin, doesn't know what he has to do, so he follows her lead. Orochi is defeated. Lee comes up and scolds Thorin for handling a battle without him, to which she starts crying. Ariin steps in.
Weeks go by until he sees them again, but Ariin learns that they have agreed to take him with them. And before he knows it, he's at a really fancy private school, even though his grades aren't really the best. Along the way he meets the others like Kyoko and Kim, and learns to control the powers within.
*takes off diving suit* Ack! It's hard to breathe in there... anywho, here you go. Now remember, don't go thinking that YouTube has episodes, because it doesn't. You can try, but take it from me, you WON'T find any.
