Kay, I got the ToS video game a few days after Truth or Square came out. So, I finally got down to playing it. MAJOR. SPANDY. HINT. Check this. There's a whole LEVEL devoted to how SpongeBob meets Sandy for the first time. Of course, it wasn't in the same place and it didn't really look like it at all, but he still rescued her from the oyster like he tried to do in Tea at the Treedome. This is what they said at the end of the level:
''Good day, Lady rodent! My name is SpongeBob Reginald SquarePants the Third, Esquire.''
''A pleasure, Mr. SquarePants. I am Madamousille Sandy Cheeks. *clasps hands together near head* May invite you for some tea and... spirited conversation?''
''*pauses* Ooh, you may indeed.''
See that?! He was obviously trying to impress her! There's another level with him and Sandy, but I haven't played it yet...
OTHER HINTS:
The whole plot of the game is SpongeBob forgets where he hid the formula, and he can't think when he's sad. So everyone helps SpongeBob remember the good times, as Plankton 'helps' SpongeBob also. So when you go up to Sandy in storymode, this is what happens.
''Howdy SpongeBob! Howdy Patrick! *looks at SpongeBob in concern* Dang, SpongeBob... you look lower than a seaworm's hindquarters.''
''SpongeBob can't remember where he put the formula, so now he's sad. And when he's sad, he can't remember anything. IT'S A VICIOUS CYCLE... this making any sense?''
''Makin' SpongeBob happy? That shouldn't be too hard. Hmm... let's see... Shazam! How about when we first met, SpongeBob!''
Aw, when they first met made him HAPPY. Not to mention, there's this MuscleBob power up, and when SpongeBob gets it, I think he says ''I wonder if she'll recognize me!'' but then, he could be saying ''I wonder if the people recognize me!'', so I'm not sure.
Truth or Square for the Wii is pretty good. I give it three and a half stars out of five.
