Guys, I need yer help here. I've finally worked out how to make vids in Windows Movie Maker and I have a fanvid project in mind BUT I heard that Viacom had copyright rules.
Now I've read on dA about how Viacom can sue you if you have a Nopets/SpongeBob/whatever video on YouTube, but I'm not sure what I can and can't put in a fanvideo. If I made a SpongeBob vid using just fanart and such that I made, would they sue me because I used their fandom.
Basically, do they sue for use of clips, screenshots, etc or use of fandom?
