Hey you guys: you need to see this video from youtube! www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVLjSJhTWOgCarolyn Lawrence is asked to do Sandy's voice during an interview and she blurts out...well you should see it  ;D Its amazing, but I dunno how significant her opinion is to the shows plot and characters. Perhaps she knows something?  Discuss away! |

okay, sandrine96; this is how it is word-for-word:
interviewer = INT Carolyn Lawerence = CL
INT: - what sandy sounds like.
CL: (doing sandy's voice) sandy, well y'all that r out there, you guys know that she's from texas; and she loves her karate, yeehaw! Oh and she loves Spongebob, she loves him.
INT:...she does...?
CL: I think he loves her too. I think thats alright.
INT: Does she? (Carolyn was trying to say something here but couldn't quite hear what exactly, and giggles) Do you think she does. Listen, uh Sandy, do you uh-?
CL: Yes. Yeah, I think he loves me, I mean we're best friends. Best friends, and as we get older i'm sure he'll realise that i'm the one...I'm the one for him, he just needs a couple of years to get together and notice.
INT: so what will you if he doesn't realise. I mean are you gonna hog tie him and-
CL *giggles* I'm gonna wallop him good. i gonna hog tie him and throw him over my shoulder and have a good talkin' to him.
INT: ooooooh
CL: Then i'm gonna talk to Patrick; and Patrick's gonna talk to him then he'll understand.
*both laughing*
INT: oooh 'cause he's a little slow. Oh well I think that will be great, you know, I mean you like kinda square-looking dudes huh?
CL: Yeah I fell for him. He's uh..He's uh...He's not of my land creature..upbringing... we have some culture differences, y'know the whole land and ocean creature, but we can work it out.
Well thats what I can remember. You have no idea how many times i've listened to that just to believe what I am hearing. I get so excited every time. I guess Carolyn is a Spandy fan YAY! XD

That was what I thought after the video disappeared from YouTube, but then I found the entire interview on here: www.blogtalkradio.com/olivia/2009/07/15/carolyn-lawrenceIf you would rather skip and just get to the spandy moment is, go to 23:15. Some of the transcript which put on the thread may be slightly different, after hearing it again ages later, but at the time, that was what I had heard. Thankfully, it is also a downloadable interview, so in case it goes from this site to (which I doubt will happen for sometime), somebody will have it  Enjoy! |

I didn't either, maybe because Patrick is dumber than SpongeBob and so it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway, or they're laughing because it was all a joke/ it was all funny. I mean, they were being kinda silly during that part of the interview (I didn't watch the whole thing so I don't know the other parts)

Omg, I just say this yesterday, and I was like "squee!" Even though the writers probably won't make spandy happen, at least Ms. Lawrence likes it! One thing I found weird was how when they interviewed Tom Kenny, and he was doing his SB voice, he said he was just his squirrel friend. So, is it unrequited love? I'm surprised that "Sandy" likes SB. XD |

But Tom Kenny also said in that interview (the 'smashing interviews' one in January 2013) that SpongeBob wouldn't mind if they would get together in the future ;D
