Is Spongebob back on the rise? Is the fanbase slowly returning? I've heard so many great things from people talking about Season 9. Lots of people wanted the show to end after the movie, but a lot of people... including myself completely hated Season 6. If everyone could just move past Season 6 and give Season 9 a chance maybe we can find some episodes that we really like. Maybe it's just me, but I'm loving Season 9 so far. If the Spongebob fanbase returns maybe the Spandy fanbase will return also. I hope I'm not just giving myself a pep talk... I hope that people will return here some day. Too many people have given up on these two  ... I am not one of them.  |

I agree, there has been a big improvement  With season 7, I suppose it's not as obvious; season 8, you can see change starting to happen; and what I've seen of season 9, BAM! oh yeah, the writers are back in their game!  Also, yeah, I irks me that most people are still hooked on how s*** season 6, as well as 4 and 5 were. I wish that they would just give the show another chance and see that there is some hope of the show being up to par. It is possible that the level of interest the spongey fans have again wil have spandy interest peak too, I know I hope that will be the case  And grr, I wish they would hurry up and release more episodes involving more spandy. Squirrel Records (despite being almost a recycled version of hibernation week, as some seem to think) played with the relationship (Don't know if you saw how SpongeBob went hysterical and proclaims how he doesn't want to lose Sandy - the music in the background made so much more wow) Squid defense is harder to find genuine moments, it's more to do with SpongeBob persuading Sandy to teach Squidward karate. This episode annoys me because it is harder to find moments between the two; and how karate, having been a sport only the two partake in, is now being learnt by other characters. That, for me, ruins the intimacy the characters had for being the only ones who knew it and enjoyed their time practicing. I just wish they would hurry up and show more spandy episodes; and stop getting other characters learning karate (seriously, first it was Patrick and now it's Squidward). WOW um.....How did I manage to get to a rant? Sorry about that |

//flips nuts// you're right! I saw a few season 9 episodes (not much since I don't watch much TV) the inspongiatic episode actually had me laughing! LAUGHING! (mostly because it was true on my case since I'm insomniac and I have a friend who would do what Patrick did...) I have a tiny bit of hope for the cartoon, I mean this was my childhood. 1999 and I still love the show (8 years old and now 22, holy crap I am old!) along with my younger cousins and hopefully my soon to be niece when she's old enough. So without further ado, I'd love to see more spandy episodes. I heard about the tickle, but have yet to see the episode (don't spoil!). By the way I'm on this forum almost every weekend...  just hoping... I'll shut up now. |

Yay someone actually saw this and replied. Wow and it only took a week. I think we should try to visit everyday to get things going again. I've been coming to see if anyone would ever reply to my topic. If we can get people to come at least once a day the forum would be a little active again. So as of today three members were online. That's a good start, but we need to work on getting this place back to the way it used to be. I know it will never be like SBC (Spongebob Community) but on SBC they come up with some weird pairings that would never happen like... SquilliamxSandy. (Vomits/cringes) Those two as far as I know of have never met. Here we can talk about Spandy all we want. After all they were the reason why this forum was created in the first place. I'm sure there will be more Spandy episodes. I suffered through season 6 and finally I've seen Sandy again. Thank you season 9 for giving us Squirrel Record, which is my favorite Spandy episode as of late. We will get more Spandy episodes, we just have to be patient. Don't lose hope and keep loving Spandy. |

I would get on everyday, but I have a crap job and it's a little difficult to come on with that interfering...but I get either Saturday or Sunday off and a day in the week. However this weekend I was lucky to have both Saturday and Sunday off OwO
I really hope we can get this up and running again. There has to be a way to make this...prettier looking per say. No offence or anything but the style of this forum is a little...bland...and I hate to admit that, I really do ;A;

I see this place for a some times in the day, but always is alone. I like the idea that try to visit everyday and here will be who is before.
Now,(already that we speak about the season 9) I don't believe that I be the only that to notice the a few times that spongebob doesn't have his helmet in the tree dome and who their romantic relationship are more close in the season 8 to onwards, when I see this make me think that they are a official couple, with the exception when in the episodes say the word "friends".
The season 8 and 9 are better (much better) that the season 6, ( seriously every time that I watch it is a completely a torture). Really I like stay here when there much people because everyone can speak spandy all time

I agree Energia OnO season 6 is like a torture! Though I will admit Spongebob Squarepants VS the Big One was good...because you know? Johnny Depp...JOHNNY FREAKING DEPP!

season 6 was a bummer and yeah, Johnny Depp actually in the big one I thought there was a possible spandy moment in that - where the gang gets stranded - sandy alone on one island and sponge and the blokes on another island? When Sandy realizes she's alone and freaks out, you know what she calls out? For spongebob, that's who! I love that bit and go aawwww over it, tee hee It would make sense that since he was her first friend in BB as well as closest there that she would think about him when she finds a way to get off the island she is on....I couldn't help but think with that moment when she is hysterical and call out to him that....hee <3 |
