I read a lot of Spongebob stories on Fanfiction. I've seen a rise in Spandy stories by different people. Maybe the Spandy fan base is on the rise again.  |

hmm I've noticed that as well; you see for ages not a single one and then suddenly, BOOM, a stream of them appear! Does anyone have any theories as to why this has happened? To be honest, I am glad to see that there is an interest, since it feels like new episodes (after one of the latest ones like squirrel record) have no indications of spandy. I am happy to see a peaking enthusiasm, particularly when fanfics get updated after aaaagggges  ...it is painful waiting for really good fanfics to update  lol |

I hate waiting for the updates. I think I should update mine too. Well Squirrel Record seems to be the only season 9 episode so far that has a Spandy moment. I've seen a few good season 8 episodes with Spandy. Two of my favorite season 8 episodes are Mooncation and Planet of the Jellyfish. In Planet of the Jellyfish there was a cute Spandy moment and I like Mooncation because it's basically just Spongebob and Sandy in the episode. |

Ooh, what fanfic are you writing? I could check it out, unless of course I am already reading it and waiting for another installment, haha Yeah I like those too: they made a nice change anyway to what normally happens in spongebob episodes nowadays...also, well, it's spandy XD It does suck that there hasn't been any other eps from season 9  hopefully something will come soon. Actually there is another episode of season 8 with spandy in and it kinda reminded me of an interview carolyn lawrence had about sandy. The episode is house sittin' for sandy - there is a cute moment which makes your eyebrow quirk when you think how Spongebob is mostly hinted, but then they take a turn and massively hint Sandy has those feelings  I don't want to spoil it, unless you want too, of course  How it relates to the interview with Sandy's voice actress: I started a thread about that interview, it's in 'spongebob links' - sadly the video which was evidence for it is no longer on youtube and it had been hard to find elsewhere before so I have no idea where it could be now. It might be worth me searching around for a new link for it. if you see the thread I put up a transcript - the reasoning, well, you'll see if you check it out |

I think I know about the episode and video you're talking about. I've seen them both and the story I'm doing on Fanfiction is called Switching Lives. It's when Plankton causes a bit of trouble and switches Spongebob and Sandy's body. It will involve Spandy and it will be my first attempt at writing a PlanktonxKaren story. They are my second favorite couple from the show.

I've read that! That was cute and the first attempt at writing Plankton and Karen definitely works, considering how Plankton can be such a jerk. I'm sorry this has taken so long... Makes me think of the season to episode, Procrastination Anyway, it was cute Hehe, one thing I thought (and perversely hoped for, naughty me XD lol) would happen would be how they would deal with things of more personal nature in the lives of Spandy (which If I recall you brought into a conversation they have in chapter 1 or 2). I don't know if anyone else hoped for that, bloody hope so XD Also, I think the spandy boom is happening again |

It took me awhile to finish my last story because I was having computer problems. I'm working on a new story now if you'd like to read it.

ah right, I think you said in an author's note about the computer problems; but at least you're able to get back to doing what you enjoy You're writing Tough love, right? God, squidward is such a **** in the first chapter, poor Spongebob oooh that abrasive side is going to get him in sooo much trouble! I can't wait to see how Sandy reacts to this "new him". She might have to pull it off of him like last time in the abrasive side episode |

I'm still hoping for some Spandy in some of the newer episodes. I want to see less KK episodes and more of other episodes.
