I liked your drawings...especially the drawing where you and Sandy are sharing a secret. I like how you drew a detailed image of Sandy's bedroom because we rarely see it on the show.

Yeah. My name isn't really Hetty.  It's Lindsey. Lindsey Yvonne Knight. Thanks for all the lovely compliments on my pictures. Yeah, I don't think we see inside the tree house enough. In my SBxSC comic I drew some time ago I used very very little detail in drawing her bedroom and the bathroom. I just didn't want to take the time to draw it over and over again so I said "**** it! I'll be lazy!" hehe. So I did. To be 100% honest, though. Mr. Krabs is my fave to draw. *shrug* He's very easy to draw... Of course, Spongebob is a close second because he's very easy to draw also. Then it's Sandy (she's harder for me if you can't tell from looking. LOL) and then Squidward (he's pretty easy) and Pat is the hardest. I don't know why. It looks like he'd be real simple, but not for me, apparently. |

Yeah. I prefer to be called Hetty online. I figure, If I went through the trouble of coming up with a screen name, it doesn't make sense to call me Lindsey... Anyway, I've always hated my name. Some of my RL friends call me Hetty on occasion (Usually as a joke, but what ever. ) |

I feel comfortable drawing things when there's a structural process to go through. Mr. Krabs is easy because he's a big rounded off triangle! Squidward is easy because his head is like a watermelon attached to a stalk, place the eyes at the center line (where the watermelon meets the stalk) add a nose and mouth. The body is like a sack. Pretty easy.
Sandy is hard to do because the top of her head is kind of flat and I keep trying to round it off, so I draw a circle attached to a bean and place the eyes at the center mark (partially into the bean which is her cheek/mouth area) the ears are easy, but the body gives me a little trouble because I size the "sacK-shape" of the body wrongly. The legs are hard for me because they're thicker than the other characters' legs (she has some meat on her bones!) but once I get the basics down, she comes together easily after that.
Spongebob is super easy, a slightly tapered rectagle, eyes resting just above the center line of the top part of his body (seperating the rectangle into a square and a small rectangle to make his body and his pants. Everything falls into place after that.
Patrick is a big circle with rounded off, stuby star-points coming out at the appropriate places, but positioning his eyes is difficult for me and that (and his mouth) is what always messes me up!
And I'm not even going to get into drawing Perl! 0_0
