I seem to notice inactivity in this place. I have studied the frequency of online activity on this forum and I realized that most of the members were last online 10 YEARS AGO!!!
Like. Wow, this place used to be so active. What the hell happened? I know that spongebob's quality has declined over time but wow.

Pretty sure it's because SpongeBob has just gotten old and people know Spandy will never happen. I'm enjoying the newest episodes, though.

I haven’t watched any of the new episodes though... This place used to be really fun. Even though I joined once it was less active. I remember the second half of Season 9 (episodes produced after Sponge Out Of Water) was praised by many fans, when they changed the animation style in Season 10, aparently a lot of people the Internet were mixed, even though the majority of that Season was enjoyable, with gems like "Mermaid Pants", "Mimic Madness", and "Feral Friends" (the latter two which seem to have some Spandy moments, and the last one also being a 16 minutes Sandy focused special) Season 11 was when they began to overuse exaggerated expressions, which left the season even more mixed between the fandom. It still had many awesome episodes though like the "Squid Noir"/"Scavenger Pants" duo, "My Leg!", an 11 minute episode dedicated to the longtime running gag (I recommend you not watch it's sister episode "Ink Lemonade", it's not worth watching despite two or three funny scenes), the "Mustard o' Mine"/"Shopping List" duo (the latter being a SpongeBob and Sandy focused one), "Chefbob", "Plankton Paranoia" (centered around Mr. Krabs' growing paranoia and regarded by the SpongeBob crew as their favourite Season 11 episode), the "Appointment TV"/"Karen's Virus" duo (the former which contains some Spandy and the latter regarded as one of Season 11's best episodes by the fandom) and the half-hour specials "The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom" (both a Halloween special and the second show's second stop-motion episode) and "Goons on the Moon" [which contains Spandy and Sandy even says to herself "I love the guy(SpongeBob)", and was both Season 11's last episode to air in the U.S. and the final episode to air the day before Hillenburg's passing] As for the current season (12), despite a few misses, it has been truly amazing so far with many episodes like "The Krusty Bucket" (where Krabs and Plankton have to team up against a clone with the DNA of both), "Senior Discount" (which is Krabs' family against Old Man Jenkins'), Squidward has been getting little victories on some episodes he plays a major role, "The Goofy Newbie"(an episode mainly set on Goofy Goober's), "The Ghost of Plankton" (the first Plankton and Flying Dutchman team up episode), "My Two Krabses" (the first episode to mainly focus on Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff's relationship since "Krusty Love"), "SpongeBob in RamdomLand"(the episode that makes the best out the current animation style, that has been toned down in other episodes), "Sandy's Nutty Nieces" (Sandy's older sister shows up on the treedome and drops her three daughters there for the rest of the day and SpongeBob offers to babysit them so Sandy can finish a present for them, gaining the nickname "Uncle SpongeBob" from Sandy and her nieces). And I don't think I have to mention "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout", the best of the season for me with all the places SpongeBob and Patrick went during their tour on the surface, specially when they arrived to the Trusty Slab with the voice actors playing human versions of their respective characters and all the many cameos and references from previous episodes. Plus Sandy trying to keep the party and the guests in check throughout the entire episode to make it as memorable as possible, ALL for SpongeBob. |

I haven't watched a new episode in YEARS but the part with Sandy's nieces calling SpongeBob "Uncle SpongeBob" sounds really cute!! |
